oasis is an extremely lightweight private forum software suitable for a small community that is served over the web.

simpler than an additional server process with it's own database, oasis is built of just a few CGI scripts and stores data in plaintext, allowing it to run on any bog-standard Apache server. users are managed via HTTP basic authentication. aggressively flattening the stack, oasis needs just CGI support, Python 3, the pytz timezone database, and ImageMagick for image resizing (optional). post bodies can be written in Gemtext, and support file attachments.
